Citizen Advice have organised Support for Stantonbury Parish Residents who are receiving Unemployed Universal Credit.

Unfortunately, more people are losing their jobs or be made redundant. As a result, more people are required to go on UC, as Job Centres are not fully open it will be difficult for new claimants to find support.

Citizen’s Advice

We pay for a Citizen Advice MK advisor to come to our office every Monday morning. All appointments need to be booked through CAB at CMK, 01908 604475 please request a meeting at Bradville. Citizens Advice is here to help for whoever you are and whatever the problem.

Job Club

Every Thursday we hold the Neighbourhood Employment Programme’s Job Club from 13:00 – 15:00. This session is open to anyone in the community to come for:

  • Impartial information, advice and guidance
  • CV Building and Advice
  • Help with job search and with completing application forms
  • Interview techniques workshops
  • support with confidence
  • Access to free work related training courses
  • Free courses in IT, Maths, English, and more
  • Internet Access
  • In-work support

Food bank

Our office is a drop off point for MK Food Bank, a charity organisation that gives food packages to families and individuals in need of support.

Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Drop-In Session

Every six weeks we hold a drop-in session with Thames Valley Police officers. These sessions are open to anyone to come without appointment and confidentially talk to the officers about anything. For more information about dates and times, please see our events calendar.
