I have lived in Bradville since 1975 and a member of the Stantonbury Parish since 2015. I wanted to become a Parish Councillor because at the time, I knew I was nearing retirement and needed something to fill a little of my time up with and as I have always had an interest in the local community, I thought there was no better way than to get involved with local issues.
Being one of the Parish Councillors for the Bradville Ward and living in the ward as well gives me the incentive to try and do as much as I can. As a Parish Councillor, I’ve been asked to deal with grant applications, problems caused by trees, sit on the Neighbourhood Plan committee, look into planning applications, and of course deal with issues that involve the Milton Keynes Council. Currently, we are focusing on vehicles parking on green areas, fly tipping, litter, general parking, North Bradville estate, Bradwell Road play area, Bradwell Road Redway security, and general streetlighting. If you have any issues with the above list, please do not hesitate to make contact with the Parish office.
