I grew up in the North East of England but I have lived in Bradville since 1991. I have worked almost all my life in IT from back in the days when they were big enough to be housed in a special room, until now when they can fit in your pocket. For my shame, I only really started to take an interest in my local community, when I attended a meeting of the All Bradville Residents Association, at the request of a friend and left it as the Treasurer. ABRA have achieved a fair few things since 2019, despite Covid and I am very proud to be the current Chair. It seemed a natural path to stand for the Parish Council, as it hopefully will offer further opportunities to help residents in Bradville and the wider parish.
