Bancroft Park & Blue Bridge

Bancroft Park & Blue Bridge

History

Across the brook from Bancroft is the separate estate of Bancroft Park, a smaller residential area but home to the Roman Park Residents Club (https://romanparkclub.co.uk/). This is a facility for residents of both Bancroft Park & Blue Bridge. Recently the Parish Council awarded the club a grant to help finance a fireworks display in November, which was open to everyone in the Parish.

Blue Bridge is just across the H2 Millers Way. Although one area, it is divided into two parts. The entrance is via Culbertson Lane or Mortons Fork, and the only way to access one part from the other is via footpaths/redways. From the far end of Mortons Fork you can get the best view of the Bradville Windmill.
