The Parish Council is first tier Local Government and was formed for the purpose of representing the residents of Bancroft, Bancroft Park, Blue Bridge, Bradville, Linford Wood, Oakridge Park and Stantonbury. The Parish Council raises a local tax (the precept) which is paid to us by Milton Keynes Council and collected via the Council Tax. The precept is then spent within the Parish and all expenditure is approved by Councillors who are local unpaid residents who have been elected on by you every four years. The elections are held in May this year.
We hold our main council meetings the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month and these are open to all members of the public.
